UPSC Photo Requirements

  • Output file name: photo.jpg
  • File size: 20KB - 200KB
  • Dimensions: Square (min 350x350px)
  • Face must cover ~75% of the image. Use the oval guide below.
  • Background will be plain white (use "Remove Background" if needed).

UPSC Photo Requirements 2024-2025

  • Filename: Must be photo.jpg (We handle this).
  • Format: JPG/JPEG only.
  • File Size: Between 20 KB and 300 KB (We target 20-200 KB for safety).
  • Dimensions: Minimum 350 x 350 pixels.
  • Content: Face should cover approximately 75% of the image.
  • Background: Recent photograph with a plain white background.

How to use this tool?

  1. Upload your photo (selfie or regular portrait).
  2. Click "Remove Background" if your background isn't white.
  3. Use the slider to Zoom and drag the image to align your face within the red oval.
  4. Click "Process Image".
  5. Download your compliant photo.jpg.
